Hello Dear Friend,
There are moments when we get it all wrong — when fear or impatience lead us down paths we never planned to walk. Yet even there, God’s faithfulness does not let go.
That’s what the story of Sarah and Hagar reminds us — that God’s covenant promise stands firm, even through human mistakes. Where we see a mess, He still sees His purpose unfolding.
And then, there’s Mephibosheth — a forgotten man, crippled and hiding in Lo Debar, until kindness found him. The same covenant that kept David’s heart toward Jonathan brought Mephibosheth to the king’s table — restored, remembered, and honoured.
These two stories, though different, speak one truth:
God’s faithfulness meets us in both our broken choices and our broken places.
